Unit 2 – Private Downstairs Apartment

This historic home is located in downtown Walla Walla and contains four private, separate apartment-style units. Each unit is a completely separate apartment and is not shared with other guests.

Unit 2 is one of the two downstairs units. It has a private side entrance, and guests may also access it through the home’s main front entrance.

Bedroom & Sleeping Arrangements

The bedroom features a queen bed and a ceiling fan.

A rollaway bed is available for a third guest. The rollaway bed is stored in the closet and can be set up in the living room.

Living Space, Kitchen & Bathroom

The apartment includes a dining area and a separate seating area.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils.

The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. Bed and bath linens are provided.

Entertainment & Comfort

There is a TV with Roku Express. Some free channels are available, but guests will need to use their own passwords for subscription services such as Netflix and HBO.

The entire home has central heating and air conditioning. As you'd expect in a historic 1899 home, temperatures can vary slightly between apartments, so additional cooling and heating options are provided for your comfort. Unit 2 also has a window AC unit installed seasonally from May through October, and a portable heater is available for additional comfort. For added comfort, the bedroom has a white-noise machine to help guests sleep soundly. Complimentary earplugs are provided in the bedside drawers for light sleepers.

Parking & Outdoor Space

Guests have access to a shared outdoor patio area.

The property has a large driveway with plenty of space to park one or more vehicles.

Outdoor security cameras are located on the storage garage and on the house, facing the driveway. There is also a camera facing the trash cans and the neighboring dental office. There are no cameras inside the guest accommodations.

Location

The property is within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shopping, more than 30 wine-tasting rooms, and local wineries.

Whitman College is less than a five-minute walk from the property. Walla Walla Regional Airport is approximately 5 km away.
