The Turret – Unit 1

A private two-bedroom apartment located downstairs in our historic 1899 Victorian home in downtown Walla Walla.

The apartment is completely private and is not shared with other guests. Unit 1 has its own private side entrance and can also be accessed through the home’s main front entrance.

Sleeping & Room Layout

The first bedroom features a queen bed.

The second sleeping room has a queen bed as well as two couches and functions as both a bedroom and living room. A barn-style sliding door provides privacy.

Please note: The second bedroom also serves as the living room. Please review the photos and layout before booking to make sure this arrangement works well for your stay.

Kitchen, Dining & Bathroom

The apartment has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and utensils.

There is also a dining area and additional seating.

The bathroom is accessed from the hallway rather than through either bedroom and has a shower stall. Bed and bath linens are provided.

Comfort & Entertainment

Each bedroom has a white-noise machine, and complimentary earplugs are provided for light sleepers.

The entire home has central heating and air conditioning. As you'd expect in a historic 1899 home, temperatures can vary slightly between apartments, so additional cooling and heating options are provided for your comfort. Unit 1 also has a portable AC unit installed May through October for additional cooling, and a portable heater is available for extra warmth. Portable fans and ceiling fans are available as well.

There is a TV with Roku Express. Free channels are available, and guests can sign into their own subscription streaming services.

Parking & Outdoor Space

Complimentary off-street parking is available in the large driveway. Guests also have access to a shared outdoor patio area.

Outdoor security cameras monitor exterior areas of the property, including the driveway and trash area. There are no cameras inside the guest accommodations.

Location

The property is within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shopping, wineries and more than 30 wine-tasting rooms.

Whitman College is a few minutes' walk away. Walla Walla Regional Airport is approximately 5 km away.
